Yesterday we all worked within multiple areas at Lee County's Habitat for Humanity's thrift store. We helped package items that were being sent to a near by sister store, organized items on the floor and helped answer phones in the air conditioning (coveted job by all). We ended the day with banana boating. Luckily our ride was spiced up a bit with some pretty decent sized waves (not wild enough for kelsey though) the boys were begging for more speed and turns while the girls screaming non stop! :)
Yesterday was Carly's birthday!!!! We celebrated with cake and candles and lots of birthday girl accessories!
This morning was depressing for the whole group as we said goodbye to morgan :( WE MISS YOU!! but we wish you good luck with your hockey tournament and a safe trip home!
We spent our day working at ECHO once again. Today we helped pull weeds in different areas. Weeds have definite ...

Okay so first of all... sorry we havent been updating this awesome blog as often as we said we would because we have been having too much fun seeing manatees and helping people just because we rock like that. At Ding Darling, our job was to pick out weeds that spread sooooper (intentionally spelled wrong) fast. It was hard work but i suppose it felt good to do a good deed. Yesturday, we were supposed to go waverunning except we have had to be 16 to drive them. It was the worst misunderstanding we have ever experienced. EVER. Also, most of the guys played a game called mau by the poolside (It's basically the best game ever). There is a rather large addiction to mountain dew on this trip. And at last... the best part, we went kayaking today in a bay. Kayaking is pretty much the bomb diggity. Although its very exhausting and a lot of work. When we were kayaking we picked out trash and fishing lines from plants to help out the awesome dolphins and manatees. That brings us here and now ...

Today, we went to Echo. It is an organization that researches plants and foods to grow in hostile environments. Echo had all of these cool plants that we could try if we chose to, including cranberry hibiscus (tastes like sour patch kids), star fruit, and strawberry tree berries (don't confuse with strawberries). Gabe Goodman and Tyler Albright found a new friend named Buddy, he was a lizard. Half of us weeded the simulated mountain side and the other half weeded the avacodo area. Now we are heading to the beach for relaxation.

today we arrived at the condo. We unpacked and went to the pool for about two hours. After we went up and changed and then we made dinner. We had cheeseburgers, salad, hotdogs and cookies. After we went to the beach and swam in the ocean. We found lots of shells and sand dollars in the water. Then we all went back the condo and had devotion time. After a long day we were all very tired and had a good night sleep.
